今日は１日中家にこもりっきり。。。

しかもルーミー全員。

折角の休みだったのに、、

でも明日はビリヤードの約束してるけどこの天気じゃどこにも行く気にならない。。

NYの天候は日本にいる時に以上にどこにも出る気が失せる。

道ががたがたで歩きづらくて元々駅とか汚いから

汚れる汚れる。。しかもうちムダにアメリカナイズドで

靴脱がない式のお家だから。

今日初めて下着ドロにあいました。しかも大量に。

モノ好きもいるもんだと。

そして盗られた分買いもどさなきゃと。

でもよく考えてこのうちのランドリー

居住者専用のしかも１５人程度の。。

アパートメント。。。

。。。。え。

ルーミーに事の事態を話し

オーナーに念の為通報した方がいいと言われたので、

テキストしたら、

「OMG------------!!!!never heard such a ridiculous story...

I ve supposed ONLY Japan...haha」

て。本当、、無い。ありえない。

ちゃんとオチつきの話でしょ。

突然急行から快速に変わるのやめてほしい。。

みんな間違えてOMGていいながら反対のホームに行く光景は面白いけどね。

ホームで待ってる時にブラジルから観光で来た人と

喋りながら待って、

リオ デ ジャネイロに行きなさいて。

そういえばバケーションシーズンなんだね。

夏が来るて思うだけでワクワクする！

NYのファーマシー事情

NYに来てびっくりしたことの1つとして

日本ほど多くのコンビニが無いこと。(セブンはあるけど。。)

その代わりにDELIが無数にあって、それからPHARMACYがある。

大雑把にいうと。。

DELI　(食品、日用雑貨)

↓

PHARMACY(食品、日用雑貨、薬)

↓

SUPERMARKET(食品、生活雑貨)

て感じなのかな。

最近そのPHARMACYのリサーチをしたのでその1つをご紹介。

ダウンタウンのウォール街にあるDUANREAD。

この辺りは超超オフィス街だから生活感がほとんど感じられないエリアで

新宿の都庁周辺みたいなイメージ。

最近この元銀行だった場所に大型店として最近新しくできたんだって。

このPHARMACYには何かとマンハッタンに住んでた時は

よく使ってたけど、このお店は本当にPHARMACY?!て思うような

とこが沢山あってなんだか不思議な間隔に。。

とにかくPHAMACYなのに品揃え、サービスが半端じゃない！

こんなものまで?!

と思うものが沢山あった。。。。。

コスメコーナーに+ブティックコーナーが別であって

ブランドじゃないけど、

ハンパない数のオススメのブランドが並んでたり

街でよく見かける(メキシコはさらに需要がある感じだったけど)

靴みがきがあったり

最近どこも増えてるデジタル広告

この人終始セールストーク、、顔の表情も動作もありね。

オーガニック、レストラン使用品、などなどカテゴライズされてたり

ソーシャルメディアと連動はもちろん。。

その下のペット禁止のお知らせに

気遣いが感じられる、、、we love your pets!

1番目を引いたのが入ってすぐの所に

お寿司のコーナーがあるんだけどなんと板さん！！

その周りを囲むようにしてお惣菜が並んでるんだけど

やっぱり1番のフェイスコーナーは寿司でサイドに

サンドイッチとかサラダ。後ろに1口デザート系。

うーん健康志向NYーー！

立地柄株価、イートインしながらチェックできます。

大体＄1前後の激甘パン達。

これね、ビューティーチェッカー？？

で顔写真を撮ってタッチ画面で自分の顔に化粧出来て

それでプリントアウトするとどの化粧品を使ったかが、書かれたペーパーが出てくるしくみ

この他にネイルサロンとヘアサロンもあり、処方銭だってタッチ画面1つで薬買えちゃうし

診断予約も可能。電化製品から文具、おもちゃまで、、アクセサリーは謎にスワロフスキー取り扱いあり。。

それからバリアフリーの所もあったし、

なんか思いつくサービスは

全部盛り込んじゃえて感じのアメリカーンなコンビニでした！

of course I really miss all my friends and family in Japan.

but absolutely NY life is shorter,thats means I dont wanna regret for everything.

It's already been here since i moved for 1week.

Here is awesome cause nice apartment,huge private room and cool roommates!

But only what i care about is feel like not safe area especially night time.

though i dont wanna say that,almost of them are black ppl there.

anyway,I just came back from Boston in this early morning.

actually i had gone there for 2days for trip.

even though it was short time,we had a very good time.

actually there is nothing to do for sightseeing.

But the most impression things was there are a lot of amazing sea food!!!

Omg...especilly lobster,calamari,whitefish,shrimp

were really good that ive never tried that.

By the way taiki is coming here soon with his friend.

he is going to stay here for 2 days.actually we meet bi-annual...lol

but actually im glad to see him!

time to move out and go on Boston for 4days finally.

this might be my last pleasure time ....

so eager that time would be stop for a while.

nobody knows what's gonna happen about my future.

anyway, lately took a new apartment in Brooklyn

and gotta bring part of my stuffs to my home

with helping my friend who has car tomorrow.

also i just have gotten a part time job as a waitress in

japanese restaurant which is kind of authentic.

thats really cool cause can get make money with fun

and improve English little by little.

we have a lot of customer but not japanese.

sounds hot,right?

christmas in NY

Merry merry christmas!!

How was everything?

Time is flying because its already gone.

Today, I felt weird a little in the city.

Somebody was talking that every store in NY would be close during this holiday.

Usually they spend with their family and having a dinner and drinking both of holidays.

[I heard that in Korea they spend with lovers the 1day of holiday

and do the next day with their family.

Have you known that how to spend the holiday in the world?]

Anyway it was like a New years day in Japan.

Although almost of stores in SOHO which is just like Harajuku had been closed,

there were a few people who was shopping.

But you know...they will be going on the biggest sale which called ''after christmas''.

So Im going to go somewhere with my boyfriend and skip my class.

5days later this year will be over...

Many of things happened in last year makes me feel as if a few days ago.

And I finally decide to resign our dormitory in next Feb.

But still I dont tell my boss about this.

what I need is looking for new home,part time job,

prepare for moving...and make an appointment with him...

I wonder how he will feel and suppose.

wow already its 2am now.

Im going to bed!

What's going on?

This year is running out soon.

We're going to Holiday season in 1 week!

There are many santa clauses drinking around in the city.

How do kids who still believe in Santa are supposed to feel

when they see these kinds of Santas ??

Now,I didn't know that Santa has been married with Mrs Santa.

There is a lot of things I never know about religion,culture,history and people.

So I should learn whatever with English at the same time during I'm here

because been having precious experience that can't get in Japan.

Anyway I'm planning to go Boston and Portland for vacation in the begining of next February.

The bus tickets which are sold by MEGA BUS that cheap bus company are only $1 for single round. Isn't it too cheap?!That's really incredible RIGHT??I'm going to be exciting!go to sightseeing,meeting my ex-guest,eating delicious robster,spending happily...as much as I can.

Im going to write down about yesterday.

I went to the store which is one of my favorite in Chelsea

after doing internship that resarch for new pop up store which is called H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection by Trish Summerville.

They already had been sale for Christmas like 50 %off and took additional 30% off!!

At first,I was going to intend to stand because didnt have enough money,

but you see....I couldnt avoid my temptation of purchase.

what i bought were a coat with dot and a creamy hand Knit sweater.Im gonna put on pics later on!it was delightful all!!!!

im certain that nobody stop me to get something especially in this season in NY when i start to do!

Oh...boy....actually I had a very good time and got enough surtisfaction finally.

Anyway today we learned about "nature is calling" and "answer the call of nature ".

Do you know this mean?

the context is just to go bath room!!lol

it was so funny because didnt know that!

when I use that word,always say "PP".you can say 'NO2'also.but Nature is calling is more casual...my teacher taught.

but how can i use!?when?for who?!?!

sometimes English can be crazy and really hard to learn.

there are many figurative expression that even though native speaker never know.

I have to study more harder and then after that will make me comfortable...

There is one more that i want to write.

I realized interesting something that generally Asian people who is especially Japanese,Korean and chinese is really strict about go dutch.But the other one is lenient comparatively...

so this is what happened.

When i had borrowed my Korean Friend some money,she told me to pay back when we met immediately the day next

on the other hand,another one said me dont need to pay back!![it was like $3]

There may be no difference there.It could be just because ''personality''

I suppose that culture shock is so interesting that we can't predict it and don't have any experience .

Here is getting chilly than last month.

but people from Japan often told me

''I think here is much better than Japan."

"NO WAY!It must be enough cold absolutely....."

I have to make a schedule for my last vacation which is from Feb to May.

I don't know why,really being upset.. because my departure time is coming soon?

Anyway that's my intention is like this.

First of all,want to get job with English toward trip in next Feb

secondly doing internship for Fashion week at the same time,

and then go to Trip somewhere EU,Miami or Boston ?!

But is it able to do even though i don't have enough money???

Do I win the temptation to give up my greedy?

You know,it's coming soon "Christmas sale"!

You can see beautiful outrageous window display which is illuminated for christmas that I never seen when you go out.They will make me so crazy.....
